Donate your Car and Feel Good
July 8, 2009 by Aaron Roberson
I finally broke down and bought a new car last month and am thrilled with it! I did a lot of research and finally decided that a Mini Cooper would be the best car in its class to suit my needs. I did briefly consider the Honda Fit but I really liked the look of the Mini better. Besides, my favorite car site (cars.com) had some great things to say about it, “The Mini Cooper is a phenomenal car, which is to say a phenomenon. When you consider its solid feel, cult status and high demand, Mini could price it higher than it does.”
Now back to what was really fun about getting a new car. I got a chance to put my trusty old (2000) VW Jetta to rest by having an junked though the program ‘cash for clunkers’ – a local charity auto salvage yard sent a tow truck out to my place within 3 hours and picked up my car. I was even able to donate the proceeds to my local charity. So now the used parts that were stripped will be recycled which is good for the environment and I am getting a charitable donation receipt for my donation. See two good deeds and a little something for me in the deal!

Impressive post Personally, I think donating cars is the best way to get rid of them if there not running or need a lot of repairs. No need to pay junkyard fees, especially if nothing is salvageable from the vehicle anyway. Most of the time, you will find a donate your car in Massachusetts or wherever you live for exactly what you want to endorse with it.
