In this day and age of plummeting GDP and almost everyone looking for cheaper ways to do things, its no surprise that smaller vehicles with cheaper running costs and buying costs are making waves. Waves, it seems, might be the most appropriate word for the latest range of 50cc and 125cc scooters to hit our roads because the word waves nostalgically conjures up images of the 60s and 70s wave, love and peace and all that jazz, and this new line of retro scooters filling our streets is both a statement of style and a testemant to where we’ve come from and just how fashion, always, always comes round again.

In a post I made a while ago I showed you how you could literally save thousands of dollars by buying cars at government auctions through repossession. Now this is a method that is completely legal, and with the economy taking a turn for the worse right now, there will be more cars being repossessed than ever before. According to the latest economic and industry reports, repossessions are soaring across the country, and that includes auto repossessions. Yes, I do have sympathy for those families caught up in the economic mess which allow the repossession laws to affect them, but at the same time, I cannot ignore the fact that this now means there are thousands of cars each week up for grabs at dirt cheap prices and you can take advantage of this today…

Corvette 2006 Z06
The Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car first manufactured by Chevrolet in 1953. It is built today exclusively at a General Motors (GM) assembly plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky, U.S.A. Forget the 1960s. Now is the golden age of horsepower. With 500 horsepower, GM says the 2006 Chevrolet corvette is the fastest, most powerful car ever offered by the automaker. The car can zip from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds and fly through the quarter mile in less than 12 seconds with a top speed of more than 190 mph on a racetrack. The 2006 Chevrolet corvette starts at affordable $65,000.
The 7.0 liter LS7 engine of 2006 Chevrolet corvette will produce at least 500 horsepower @ 6200 rpm & 475 pound feet of torque @ 4800 rpm. Passing its 7000 rpm redline through base Corvette six speed gearing, it can actually hits 60 mph within or actually less then 4 seconds. Magnesium and carbon fiber parts are used in the vehicle to help contain the total curb weight to decrease as much as 3150 pounds. This puts this new 2006 Z06 Chevrolet corvette’s weight 2 power ratio below both the GT’s 6.3 pounds/horsepower and the Viper’s 6.8. Aero tuning reduces total lift and balances the both front & rear lift coefficients while increasing the base Vette’s 0.28 drag coefficient to amazing 0.34

Pulse Adrenaline
Some of you may have heard of it, others probably not. So what is this motorcycle that is absolutely gripping the UK auto market by storm? Well, it’s a 125cc, 101kph, 4 stroke off-road motorcycle with stylish looks to boot. It sometimes gets referred to as an enduro or adventure motorcycle as well, and that is due to its tough looking exterior and sleek, stealth bomber-style chassis. We’re reviewing this bike after coming across it in a fairly old Supermoto group test, published by MCN back in 2007, and we wanted to see how the thing stacks up against what’s on the market today.
One of the main reasons we’re having a second look at this bike is because it’s currently on the UK market at a jaw dropping £1295, and similar variations of it are on the market at an almost unbelievable price of just £1095! This, by anyones standards, is a pretty good price for a bike that seems to live up well in the MCN review above, but really, is it all that?
